Objectives:

  • To identify common goals and objectives of the collaborating Institutions and exploring the possibilities of working on them collectively and severally.
  • To carry out exchange of experts and knowledge available with either of the collaborating institution.
  • To develop exchange programs for internship in early as well as mid-career development.
  • To develop Expert systems in different streams of Mining Research and Innovation with use of AI.
  • To conduct professional development programs in mining so as to bring out the latent talent.
  • To initiate learning programs for fresh graduates and postgraduates.

Identifying Common Goals:
  • Conduct joint workshops to identify and prioritize shared interests in mining education, research, and development.
  • Work on topics of common interests and take them up for collaborative research.

Knowledge and Expert Exchange:
  • Organize exchange programs for officials/scientists to share expertise and their diverse perspectives.
  • Develop collaborative research projects and publications to the combined strengths of both collaborating institutions.
  • Establish a collaborative online platform for sharing research resources, and findings.

Early/Mid-Career Development:
  • Implement student exchange programs for research and internships opportunities.
  • Organize joint seminars and workshops on early career development and professional skills.
  • Develop and offer online learning opportunities in specialized mining topics through collaboration.
  • Organize mining industry visits and conferences to expose scientists/officials that would spark interest to diverse aspects of the mining sector.

Talent Development:
  • Collaborating to establish research labs and/or innovation hubs to attract and retain top talent in the field.
  • Deliver joint professional development programs by introducing courses / research fellowship / scholarship program for students/ scientific professionals/ talented individuals by incorporating high-end technology, sustainability, and leadership in mining research.
